The Kansas Department of Transportation plans to begin work on a trio of bridge repair projects along Interstate 70 in Ellis County the week of March 14.

Crews will be making repairs to the westbound I-70 overpass at exit 153 and on the westbound and eastbound bridges located approximately 1 mile east of Yocemento. Project work will include milling, patching and overlaying the bridge decks with new concrete driving surfaces.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Traffic will be reduced to one lane through the construction zones with a decreased speed limit of 60 mph. Minor delays not exceeding 5 minutes should be anticipated. KDOT expects work to be completed by mid-July, weather permitting.

PCiRoads of Topeka is the primary contractor for the project with a total contract cost of approximately $655,000.&nbsp;
