The Kansas Department of Transportation has started a project to repair two bridges along Interstate 70 in Trego County.
Crews are repairing the westbound and eastbound I-70 bridges located near Ogallah at exit 135. Traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction through the construction zones with a decreased speed limit of 60 mph. Minor delays not exceeding 5 minutes should be anticipated. KDOT expects work to be completed by the end of August, weather permitting.
PCiRoads of Topeka is the primary contractor for the project with a total contract cost of approximately $570,000.
